- add Formatter.JSONEscapeHTML and SetJSONEscapeHTML to let JSON writers preserve HTML-sensitive characters when needed while keeping escaping enabled by default. - switch JSON output to json.Encoder, preserve existing Print/Println newline semantics, and cover the new escaping behavior in tests.
